SAFETY
Celebrate safe, watch out for each other, and know that help is all around you!
CELEBRATE SAFE
We put your fun first, and you are about to have the time of your life. Enter our world with a kind reminder to be safe and have fun. Our top priority is the welfare of our dancers.
The most fulfilling experiences are those we have with other music enthusiasts in our community. The pleasure you receive from listening to your favorite songs with friends, both old and new, is one of the few things in life that can compare, so stay in the moment and follow your own rhythm.
BE A FRIEND
Be a friend to a friend in need by offering assistance to other festival attendees. If you observe someone who appears to be in distress, call a staff member or security guard right away. Symptoms of distress include: nausea, vomiting, headaches, impaired vision, racing heartbeat, shallow breathing, trembling muscles, inability to speak, and discolored lips.
Never leave someone who appears sick or has indicated a need for solitude alone. Seek prompt medical attention if you believe someone is ill as a result of using drugs.
BUDDY SYSTEM
At festivals, it’s simple to become separated. Establish meeting places, keep in touch with your buddies, and remain together.
Ask our helpful staff for assistance if you believe a friend needs it, and always leave the event with your entire crew. Look up the locations of the medical tents on the website, mobile app, and on-site maps.
STAY COMFORTABLE
Even though the weather is unpredictable these days, you should at the very least be ready for a change in temperature from day to night. For when it becomes chilly at night, make sure to check the weather prediction in advance and pack an extra layer of clothing. Additionally, we strongly suggest wearing comfortable dance shoes with your outfit.
Take a break from the heat of the moment after putting it down on the dance floor and cool off at one of our designated Chill-Out locations. If you want to get the most out of Galaxy Station by staying out late every night, you must take breaks throughout the day.
MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
We have medical staff on-site who can help you with anything from cooling down to rehydrating with electrolytes to giving you some aspirin, bandages, or earplugs. On the festival grounds, keep an eye out for First Aid stations marked with red crosses close to every stage. For any health-related difficulties, you are welcome to come in.
Give our roving Health & Safety staff a grin if you see them around the festival grounds. These employees remain standing the duration of each event to maintain a vigilant, loving eye on you! Additionally, signal one of those helpful people for assistance if you or a buddy needs medical attention.
HYDRATE
Dehydration and hyperthermia are risks associated with all that nonstop dancing and strenuous exercise. Have the time of your life, but don’t forget to stay hydrated by drinking lots of water. We’ve provided free water so you may refill empty bottles and continue the celebration. Reusable water bottles and hydration packs are permitted, although they must be empty and without multiple pockets. They may also be searched upon arrival.
With the help of sports drinks sold at concession stands, replenish essential electrolytes. Better still, stop by one of our fresh fruit vendors providing delectable fruit, drinks, and smoothies to cool off from the heat you create on the dance floor.
OUTLET
OUTLET encourages the continuation of mental health efforts that go beyond the festival experience by offering on-site information, activities, and resources pertinent to mental health.
Through peer involvement, psychoeducation, and other means, OUTLET aims to establish a space that offers mental and emotional support to help people overcome obstacles by turning them into opportunities for personal growth.
ENJOY YOURSELF
You don’t need booze or illegal drugs to enjoy the concert. Deciding not to take anything at all. You cannot drink if you are under 21. Please keep in mind that the amount of alcohol that is safe to consume depends on your height and body weight. Alcohol doesn’t help you cool off or hydrate again.
Please drive safely whenever you are on the road. Never drive after using alcohol or drugs. Make sure your ride is secure. To be safe, utilize Uber, a taxi, or a designated driver!
ZERO TOLERANCE
Simply said, Galaxy Station has a zero-tolerance narcotics policy. This applies to all marijuana, even medical marijuana. Avoid being the one who needs to be escorted from the location!
Make sure the weekend is enjoyable for everyone—you, your friends, and the other fans. Find a team member or go to one of the clearly marked medical stations if you think someone may be experiencing a medical problem or overdosing on drugs.
CONSENT MATTERS
Please approach one of our medical tents for assistance if you ever feel unsafe, don’t want to ride home with someone, or believe someone is not honoring your right to agree.
RESPECT THE SPACE
Keep the area and our surroundings in mind. Please take action! Do your part to maintain the venue’s cleanliness by helping to clean up after yourself and others.
BE GENTLE TO YOUR EARS
Think about purchasing high-quality earplugs. Any type of earplug—foam, high-fidelity, or custom—is meant to protect your hearing. High-fidelity earplugs account for the resonant frequency of the ear to ensure that the sound is attenuated uniformly across the frequency range, maintaining the same musical quality, just more subtly.
